Welcome!

This is a new venture for me.  Some of these recipes I had posted on another blog that was cancelled, so here they are.  Enjoy, comment, I'll even take suggestions for things.  Thanks for visiting.

  1. Some great sounding recipes on here, I'll definitely have to try a couple of them. I make a chicken and rice dish with a pretty simple marinade that is by far my favorite that I cook. I figured Iwould share it with you if you're interested in trying it. Unfortunately I don't really use exact measurements but its simple enough that you can just add enough to your liking.
    All I use is:
Boneless- skinless chicken breasts (2 to 4)
    Frank's Red Hot sauce, roughly 1 to 1 1/2cups
    Hennessey congac, roughly half cup
minced garlic or garlic powder, tablespoon
    honey 1/4 cup
Marinade the chicken for a few days in the fridge and then add little more honey just before cooking. Cooking it on the grill gives it almost a crisp coating from the honey or I'll cook it in glass dish in the oven and it comes out much more moist due to it cooking in the marinade. Once cooked I cut it up and put chicken and spoon sauce over brown rice and sometimes add corn or other mixed veggies. I think the flavor of the hennessey mixed with the sweet and hot flavors is incredible. Hopefully it sounds good to you and you'll give it a try.
